A Game Worth Winning?

Sadie Says: Closer to what, angel? You see, to come up with a game plan, you need to know what game you're playing. Do you? Let's ask the right questions:

Getting It! Your Personal Strategy:

Just how “close” do you really want to get with this guy? Pick One.

a) He's your libidinal fire extinguisher. A little "polka" and pillow talk are enough to score you big points.

b) You have ... plans. Yes. Thoughts of butter cream, ice swans and joint condos waft through your intentions.

● If you picked “a” (lust), our work is simple. Kiddo, do you think Orville and Wilbur invented  those wings so you could sit there and whine about some overworked daily planner? Feh! The whole world's designed to reach out, but you have to move and modem to get closer. Fly, bus it, e-mail and get creative with bits of time, i.e., show up under room-service carts.

● If you picked picket-fencing “b,” you want more. Now, listen carefully: Ignore the advice above and heed my Rule: Single men can always get where they want to be — when they want to be there. Boom! If Tom Hanks can commune with a coconut, your guy can Bic you in. So far, I don't see a pencil stub. Which means: He doesn't care to and/or he doesn't have to.

Your game plan, then, is to get him so besotted, so desperate for a whiff of your sweetness, that  he's the one running around adjusting agendas for you.

● Quit yapping and leaping like a desperate pup: You're not his nurse, his travel agent or his personal organizer.

● Get unpredictable and unavailable-by-whim: No, you won't drop your feng shui class with the gals because his 6 to 7 cancelled.

● Get a full life: Your own on your own timetable and that includes other men.

And by the way, picture this: Sundays in the park with his brood while he's on the road. Dinners with the ex. Wednesdays all alone. How does it feel? Is he worth it? Because, you see, my question to you is: Is this particular game worth winning?
