Profiles & Interviews
The pop rock essence of the Eighties are back baby, and guess “who’s bad:” Tushell Lieberman, corset designer extraordinaire and owner of Bad Attitude Boutique-The Corset Store. Speaking of the 1980s, Tushell spent that glorious decade touring the world as a stage manager for glam rock bands like Poison and Pat Benatar. She first dipped her toe in the proverbial designer pool by creating a line of animal print leggings called ‘Rockin Frocks’ that started a nationwide fad during the time. In 2003, Tushell opened Bad Attitude and soon after founded Corset Creations design house. Her exquisitely detailed constructions are showcased in this month’s Roxanne Magazine fashion editorial.
The painting featured in this month’s Roxanne fashion editorial, “The Lion and The Golden Mean” was created by Nevada native and mixed media artist extraordinaire, Montana Black. Collectors acquiring a Montana Black piece receive far more than beautiful art—they become the beneficiaries of the artist’s intention of higher consciousness.
